NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FY2019 CDBG AMENDMENT

The Town of Buckland will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 5:45 p.m.

The purpose of this hearing is to discuss the reprogramming of $20,000 of funds from the Town’s FY19 Community Development Block Grant to create a forgivable loan program to assist small Buckland businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The CDBG eligible activity under consideration is Microenterprise Assistance to businesses with 5 or less full time equivalent employees, including the owner(s). The proposed loan program would be administered by the Franklin County Community Development Corporation on behalf of the Town of Buckland. Any agency or individual who wishes to be heard on this matter will be given the opportunity. In addition, comments in writing or by email to twnadmin@town.buckland.ma.us will be accepted prior to the hearing. Special accommodations will be attempted upon written request to the Selectmen’s Office.
