Residents: Suggestions to Help Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 at Municipal Transfer Stations:
• Tie up trash bags securely
• Dump your trash, recycling and compost quickly
• Reduce the surfaces you touch
• Keep a safe distance (6 feet) from other users and attendants
• Do not enter the attendant’s shed
• Don’t linger on the premises to visit
• Wash your hands and/or use hand sanitizer when you get in your car or after leaving transfer station
• Make fewer trips: consolidate waste
• (Don't forget to Reduce, Refuse, Reuse, Repair, Compost, Recycle!)
