Public Meeting to Discuss the Future Use of the Police Station Building

The Select Board will hold a listening session on Tuesday, Dec. 12th at 5:30 p.m. to hear from residents and business owners about the future use of the Buckland Police Station building. 

The meeting is in response to the recent Special Town Meeting vote authorizing the Select Board to sell the building through the public procurement process as outlined in Chapter 30b of the Massachusetts General Laws. 

The Select Board has been approached by two specific potential buyers are aware of other interested parties. 

The purpose of this meeting is hear what types of uses the public would like to see in that space. 

The meeting will be held upstairs in the Buckland Town Hall as part of the Select Board's regularly scheduled meeting.  A Zoom option will be available and those participating virtually will be able to hear the in person discussion and comment / ask questions via the chat function.
