Polls for Buckland Voters at Buckland Town Hall, 17 State Street, Shelburne Falls, MA. Use William Street entrance. Voting is on the second floor. Please make sure you have registered to vote at least 10 days in advance of any election you would like to vote in.
June 4th, Annual Town Election
Last day to register to vote, May 24th. The office will be open 9am-11am and 9am-11am.There will be no In-person, Early Voting for the Annual Town Election.The deadline has passed to return nomination papers to be on the ballot for the Town Election and the expected candidates on the ballot this year will be:
(1) Select Board- 3 Year Term- Clinton W. Phillips, incumbent

Massachusetts Elected Officials
The General Court
The Commonwealth's legislature is composed of two chambers:
1) Lower Chamber - House of Representatives
The lower chamber is called the House of Representatives and Buckland's Representative in the General Court (MA State Legislature) is Natalie Blais
The Massachusetts House of Representatives is comprised of 160 members, each representing a district of approximately 40,000 people. As required by the Massachusetts Constitution, the House meets every 72 hours, year-round in either formal or informal session to consider legislation. The Massachusetts House is led by the Speaker of the House who is elected by the members of the body at the beginning of each two-year legislative session. The Massachusetts Legislature, known as the General Court, has been meeting since 1713.
2) Upper Chamber - Senate
The upper chamber is called the Senate and Buckland's State Senator in the General Court (MA State Legislature) is Joanne M. Comerford
The Senate is comprised of 40 members, with each Senator elected to represent a district consisting of approximately 159,000 people. As required by the Massachusetts Constitution, the Senate meets every 72 hours, year-round in either formal or informal session to consider legislation. The Massachusetts Senate is led by the President of the Senate who is elected by the members of the body at the beginning of each two-year legislative session. The Massachusetts Legislature, known as the General Court, has been meeting since 1713.
